Permablitz 1

In honor of International Permaculture Day 2014, we decided to organise a Permablitz at Paola's place in town for our 3rd Permaculture Gathering which is now officially a Group under the Granite Border Landcare umbrella. We gathered resources the week before and arrived to a cold morning. Despite the coolness, volunteers came along to help, along with their donated plants and tools. Work happened quickly as no-one wanted to stand idle!!

Paola wanted a veggie garden, a way to compost kitchen scraps (a worm container), and herbs. She wanted this to be child friendly and so we got her daughter and another volunteer's son to paint the worm container and help with some digging and planting :)

Thank you to all who supported us on the day and with resources.
