Mini-swales and mini-internship

We had Henry from Spain staying for a week. He had completed a PDC and internship at PRI Sunshine Coast and wanted hands on experience at a "young" Permaculture demonstration site. We agreed to host Henry and enjoyed many long chats about all things Permaculture and worked on a variety of tasks. We completed the 'old dam' cover up, with mini swales, planting fruit trees, and sowing green manure seeds:

2 mini-swales in foreground, another 1 or 2 will be added further up when the gourds are finished:

Good luck Henry with your Permaculture ambitions in Spain, keep in touch!
